Very good question but also a lot of it depends on the
quality of the earphones you use if you use them and not the

Hard to find a radio with Long Wave on it, have they stopped selling them?
I think that Radio 4 is still broadcasting on the Long Wave band, I think
Prince Charles was outraged! several years ago when the BBC wanted to close the
Long Wave Transmitter even then though I did read somewhere
Hi Dane
I don't think many stations are on long wave now, most of

Dane,
No, they are not taking it off air in 2016, 2020 at the very very earliest.
Do you want a long wave scan or just samples of stations?
I am quite happy to do a scann for you, waiting on each station for a few
minutes, but please be aware, I am located only three miles from the local
Dane,
I should have advised, if I do a scan, it will initially be recorded on
cassette because I will use a cassette-radio, it has a built-in mic and
though the radio is reasonably sensative, the mic is appauling, I will need
to use it to identify what I am scanning Etc.

Okay, here's something that will put the Jawbone Jambox to absolute shame for a
fraction of the price, even the bigger ^50 which I've had for a year or so now
- with its more expensive price tag - wipes the floor with the Jambox, what an
incredible waste of money the Jawbone Jambox has been and

there's nothing much in Australia to be found and I've known this ever since I
got my first communications receiver equipped with Long wave all those years

The debate then was whether or not to keep using Long Wave, those in

Dane,
This afternoon, I performed a full scann of long, medium and fm from the hf
to the lf on each in turn. I will put the results on SendSpace, the whole
thing lasts over an hour, it will be at a low sampling rate of probably
16,000Hertz converted to .mp3 stereo as on the fm band we have some
Thanks for your time, look forward to it.

Hello Armando,
I don't necessarily think that you need a usb mixer.
A reasonable analogue mixer, connected in to the line in of your
computer will do just fine. You can monitor from the mixer, and have
complete control of the faders.
75 dollars, or fifty uk pounds will do you just fine.

Hello. I've got one of these laptops that has one jack for everything. What
kind of mixer do I need? Can I use an analog mixer? If so, what kind of cables
do I need? If I need a USB mixer, I could use some recommendations. I have a
USB headset. Is there a way to use a USB headset on a USB

Hello Ken. Is the fasttrack pro a USB mixer? Can I use my USB headset with it?
What is the approximate retail cost of the fasttrack pro? Thanks so much.

The fasttrack pro is not primarely a mixer.
It does have two mic inputs lef and right.
It has line inputs, and a way to mix mi mics and line together.
It's about $150.
It's powerd from your usb port

It has an earphone 1/4 inch jack.
It also has midi in and out and spdif in and out.

I'm planning to get a new TV. Some people say that Samsung is good, but
Samsung makes Android smart phones. I plan on getting an IPhone. If anybody
has one, will the IPHone work with that TV I question it, because of the fact
that Samsung makes an Android smart phone.
