I have a Ricoh XRX-3PF SLR camera. It came with a 50mm lens that is
dedicated to the Ricoh for its program features. Does anyone know how many
of these dedicated lenses were made?

The first difference between the KX and MX is size. The MX is positively
small vs the big KX.
Think about what family of cameras you are using now. The KX is the same
size as the K1000 and a bit bigger than a Spotmatic. The MX is the same
general size as the ME and ME Super line

is that when scanning, you are really setting up for the number of pixels

I pickup my pdml mail through Hotmail with Outlook EXpress and seem to quite
often get double emails, about %50 of the time, i quite often get garbled
messages too, which appear ok when viewed on the hotmail website.

Since the MX has user replaceable screens, it's possible that the screen is
simply installed wrong. That would be what I would check first.

What I meant to ask in the original post is that yes
I'll be composing the shot similarly, but in one case
I'll be using a 50mm f1.4 with TC and another case
without. Of course, with the TC the lens is
effectively 100mm f2.8, although the lens is wide
opened at f1.4.

Sounds interesting... USM stands for Ultra Sonic Motor, IIRC. Pentaxes have
AF motors built in the body (I got this info from the list), none of them
is USM (maybe some are?). USM lenses should have built-in AF motors. What
