I agree. However, the burner delay is somewhat predictable. I was trying to
photograph my grand daughter last night with the point and shoot. She darts
every which way and frequently ends up with her back to me, so my hit rate was
about one in ten. Lots of fun though:-).

would guess -- the heater is calibrated to some degree of accuracy.

maybe you took a look on eekBay, sometimes an *istD shows up offered by
dealers, new with warranty. AFAIR, it's no two weeks ago that I saw the
last one. You can also search for items sold in the recent past.
A steady flow of Ds and DL, but no D.
Made late last night using an
M150/3.5 on the
istDS. Not being able to
sleep, I opened the bedroom window and grabbed a few frames of the lights
on the distant hills. This'll go into the collection of abstracts that I'm
building. Comments welcome
I missed #2, probably buried in e-mail... for me at least, #3 has ceased to
be strictly photography, not that there's anything wrong with that, call it
pop-art, but it's been altered enough that it's not really a photograph
anymore, IMO.
