I have 10.4.7 on my laptop. Both it and my 10.3.9 machine are very stable. I would have purchased 10.4 for my desktop machine, but I haven't seen any distinct advantage. I don't use the dashboard features very often, and if it's faster, I can't tell because the two machines are different.
