I use two softbox diffused flourescent sources. One light is perpendicular to the table one is at a 45 degree angle or thereabouts. The camera doesn't allow for manual f-stop adjustment. However you can increase DOF by pushing the ISO up manually to stop down the lens but I never bother with that
