Can't comment on that particular lens but I have taken apart quite a
few and the aperture assembly was easier to extract from the rear on
most. In many cases however, it was extremely difficult so try and
find instructions or a construction drawing if you can or be prepared
to lose your lens

I missed the part about the swively thing on my earlier post. B&H has all sort
of brackets (flash brackets) with the capacity to aim the flash all over the
place, but they are so darned expensive, I could never justify the cost. I
always used a Kalt bracket (this is 35 years ago, for about $9),

MZ-S and I've not used the stroboframe on it. I think the grip would
not be useful except for the extra batteries since when you rotate to
portrait with the flash up, the shutter button on the grip will be down,

Wife and I took a 300+ mile drive looking for signs of Sierra fall.
Were mostly in the Lake Tahoe area and a ways south over Luther Pass.
Fall Cabin is on Hwy 88 not far west of the 89 intersection. Carson Pass is a
number of miles further west, also on Hwy 88.

Stroboframe Camera Flip. The flash always stays on top, and the
camera rotates. You don't need to move the flash when you move the

cable-connected, off-camera AF540 in combination with the on-camera flash

I agree. Also we should remember that pros bought Canon 1Ds at almost the same
price ($7,995 in 2002) with 11MP and approximately the same ISO range.
And compared to other MF dslrs it is cheap.
