My experience with wasps it they're more or less docile unless you mess with them. Of course, their definition of "mess with them" is pretty broad, but they don't seem to be as aggressive as Yellow Jackets. Yellow Jackets are the worst. They'll attack just because they see you. On 7/31/2019
