They work great. Many lenses are available for cheap in m42, it gives you the
opportunity to try all sorts of things, like say, a 180/2.8 Zeiss. Biggest
downside: stop down metering only. I keep one on an old ME body all the time.
And I have an old spotmatic with a dead meter.

My plain jane MZ-5 uses a spot AF button where the exposure lock button is

5n, MZ-S, and ZX-L and if so how is it activated?

Is this a new Pentax lens or is it a rebaged Tamron? I know there was an IF

Thanks,

Yep, those are the ones to have...you'll need both, really... the 20-35/4 is
supposed to be really outstanding
I seriously doubt Pentax was the inventor of 6x7. I have a 6x7 (2 1/4 x 2

Yeah I bought in to the whole Kiev 60 thing just to use this great honkin'
lens. I have no idea how much better the $6000 Zeiss version is but I've had
a ton of fun with my Arsat. And I figure when I can get a Pentax 645 I can
use an adapter.
I would love to know if this puppy will cover
I think it would PROBABLY work on a 6x7 since it was designed for 6x6.
Twould be interesting indeed to find out for sure.
Perhaps a good project for the week! I'll let you know

Very interesting, but of course, many questions remain. I think long term

Leica never, ever made a camera like the PZ or the LX, either.
Leica offers real product support to their customers, and never
made a camera that required service every 1500 exposures.
