They work great. Many lenses are available for cheap in m42, it gives you the opportunity to try all sorts of things, like say, a 180/2.8 Zeiss. Biggest downside: stop down metering only. I keep one on an old ME body all the time. And I have an old spotmatic with a dead meter. You should have
