Your image merits added superlatives, I'll contribute relaxing, soft,
colourful, soothing
And downright excellent.
You could help me if you shared what, if anythihg, would have done
differently when taking
This if you could turn the clock back, and knowing this area as you do ?
Thanks

I agree with Frank, lovely photo, and orginal title.
I like surreal too, but prefer the real stuff when it comes to Hershey's.
I suppose Cotty would scoff and say nothing but Terry's or Cadbury's will
do.
Ian
PS scoffing Cadbury's is a really good idea too.

What a talented bunch you all are.
For me its hat's off to;
Francis Alviar's "Gillian" in B&W, and Max McRae's "Karen" in colour
Francis has captured a real-life treasure, its gripping how he's captured

Extreme attention oblivious to the camera's eye. Super.
I can imagine her wondering if she

Thanks for your comments
I agree, note that I did trust the PZ-1P multi-zone metering and bracketed
0.7.
All my ~20 images in my opinion contain too much light in the sky, partly
because of the
muggy weather reflecting the city lights.
Still, I didn't want to miss the opportunity

Sincerely many thanks for your thoughts and opinions and research.
I went ahead, bid and won a AP Takumar 135 f2.5 52mm lens on ebay.

I won it for $38 and probably wouldn't have bid much beyond this.
I have not taken any
There is quite a choice of this focal length, between Takumar 2.5 through
FA. Examples of the 1st in this list are appearing as cheaper alternatives
on ebay, but I'm sure the pugistes have their own views on this particular
135mm vs the others.
Anyone have a guide or decent URL to help choose ?

Many thanks to Mishka, Frank, Chris and all others that helped on the MIR-47
and Vivitar 19mm threads.
Looking forward to any test data when you guys who have a MIR, get chance to
post it.
The widest I currently have is a 28-300 Tamron LD AS, which is very useful
when travelling.
I'd like wider

There seems to be a growing number of russian lenses arriving on the scenes,
and some notable specialists such as Herbert Keppler, seem to suggest they
can be great value.
I'm taking my time searching for reasonably priced wide angle/fisheye,
clearly this type of glass means lo
Anyone heard of a grip accessory for PZ-1P ? It was mentioned in a short
thread in a older user club pdml, but I never heard of this. T'would be good
to know if one exists since the trusty beast gets a little unwieldy in some
cases.
Thanks

I suppose with all the digital usage these days, may slide projectors are
busy gathering dust.
I had an old projector bought a Boots in UK many many years ago. Well its
slide holder broke into
smithereens last month, so I started scanning for a replacement. Of course
there's a dearth of

Hear hear hear. Phew, I was beginning to wonder !
Mind you I enjoyed the pimms thread, although, Cotty, my english memory of
pimms
is a lovely biscuit we used eat (too many of) with a nice cup of tea.
Cant find them easily over here on the west coast. Cant find decent ginger
nuts either. Fou

Thanks for the welcome, glad you liked some of my work

I am just as gullible as you, and couldn't resist buying one of these sets
On ebay. I bought the Extension Tube K set, which is A compatible to stop
down the aperture
But no auto-focus compatibility
So far I don't regret it, but they are clearly less practical than a good
macro. Just before
