G'day folks,
I'm working on gathering the stuff I need to develope BW films, mostly Tri-X and HP5,
perhaps Delta (does it matter?)
Anyway, since it's what I've always used, I'll go for D76 1+1 and I'm having a hard
time deciding what to store it in, how often and long to use it before I get
That page is illegible!
However, it sounds most interesting. And Pentax? I guess we will have to wait and see
what will happen...

In my opinion you could try and get a K2 or KX... Just be sure it is in good
condition, because a lot of them are defect. It's a lot of camera for little money
though.

Except for the focusing and aperture ring it even looks quite a bit like the Tokina SD.

That should explain
So the button simply short-circuits the motor that stops the lens down?
I figured it would release a signal to the CPU which would then give a signal to the
motor to stop it down, since some people claim on some cams it also stops down in Tv
or P? Surely I can be wrong :)

I believe the F1 used to be a pretty professionel cameras in the early 70's and it
seems to go for about $350,- second hand (here in the Netherlands that is). Nice found.

Happy new year!
Looking through my cabin I contently notice my K1000, KX, K2, 135/3.5M, Metz 32 Z-2,
SCA372 and 55/1.8K, 50/2M, 50/1.4K that came with the bodies, bought from savings of
my 38 hours a week - working hard - $820 salary.

Further on I figured Reala 100 would be able to deliver colors that are more correct
and perhaps a higher contrast then the Superia 200? Further on any comments on my
setup, any things that I should do different, any tips to reach a better outcome?
Thank y'all and happy new year,
Rodelion.
G'day,
Alright thanks for sharing that bit of information. One question though, since it's
round, doesn't it block the back-cover?

Quote from the manual: A cross-microprism focusing system consists of a Fresnel lens,
made up of many concentric rings, with microprism center underneath the ground
glass..
So I guess the large ring must be part of the microprism system, and in this case a
'down-side' part? All manual cameras

K bodies have dimmer focusing screens than M
for the 'no mail' option... I've heard about it...
Could anyone tell me how to do that?
And Mark, I'll try to get in touch with someone from my old college (electrotechnics)
to check if someone can identify the codes.
Take care y'all.

Pentax is good value for the money, while Nikon or Leica would make me a poor man.

Goodday,
Since I don't have a telezoom, besides my MF Tokina SD 70-210 f4-5.6, which

in my opinion, doesn't have that much to offer if you look at what you pay.

Sorry Ed for my error and thank you, Bruce, for correcting it. I didn't

'newer' version?
Thanks for u'r help,

This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List
, or the way in which the light streaks the subject? Or is it only
that you lose a lot of light when uses a telelens? What are the drawbacks in
practice? (I guess there aren't any benefits, beside longer battery life,
because there's no motor?)
