Hey gang.
Finally am getting over this cold,so i went out on a driving tour yesterday.
For just about all of the 450 odd frames shot so far, i have used either my A
28 or A50
with the
odd Sigma 100-300 or the Pentaz PZ 28-105.

The ist D has a backup battery, a button CR2016, that is used for
backup. If you look at the bottom of the camera, there's a screw-in
round cover. That's the backup battery.
The manual says "change it once every five years".
Not that I read the manuals either, but hey.

show up as little dark greyish smudges and always in the same spots.

It's probably a spec of dust on your sensor. Get yourself a sterile ear
syringe from a drug store. Follow the directions in your owner's manual
for cleaning the sensor and blow it off with the ear syringe. Between
cleanings, keep your syringe in the box, so that it stays clean.

I think I started the hp rumor a while back, it was a
grey ink refill for their 3 colour carts. Tho the
epson 2200 does have a dual black ink set ( 7 carts in
the printer ) that works well.

that do a very good job converting the images.

printing in color. Not exactly black and white, but monotone, and I
find they look pretty good.
