Do not put film into checked luggage. There were warning signs about
this at San Francisco, San Jose, Heathrow, Luton, Douglas and
Nashville airports on my last two trips.
It is best to carry film in clear plastic sacks, optionally in an
"XRay Proof bag" as well, and ask (beg) for hand inspe

If you check film, it's dead. Not just fogged--big
exposed stripes from the scanning Xray.
Make room in your carry-on!
