I eyeball really big prints, or small sections blown up really big.

I just got inoculated for the LX virus.
What a beauty, and with a heavy lens (SP70-210) I'll pretend it's a 6x7.

You should send the lens to Aaron, who will test it, then pass

Yes, we'll produce a detailed report. It shouldn't take more than a
year or so of careful study.

Inoculated? You mean you have got at least three bodies, one for low
iso film, one for 1600 film, the third just backup
Recieved the new 67 90-180 f.5.6 lens yesterday morning. Picked it up from
KEN in 'LN-' - came with that new hood (VERY nice) and soft case. Impossible
to tell from new. Gotta love KEH's grading!
Same build quality as the 55-100 f4.5, smooth focussing and zoom.
Was going to do some comparison
Oliver,
Congrats! So, I wanna know how big this little beauty is. Is it hand
holdable or does it need at least a monopod?

Hey Bruce.
The lens is handholdable - it's weight and dimensions aren't too far off the
55-100, which I always hand-hold (up to about 1/60). .

55-100 = 1,210g (replaces)

Actually, I don't really do a lot of formal lens testing. Just
go out and take pictures with it.
That's essentially what I did when I got my 6x7 Tak 300mm f/4. I
tried lens-test charts a year or two ago with some 35mm lenses;
they're a bit fiddly to use and don't tell
