Actually the MZ/ZX-M is only a "Manual Focus" camera.
While it has full manual override, much like a ME
Super of an LX. The camera in question has Tv Av and
P modes where the exposure compensation dial becomes a
very important and useful feature.

okay, I think I got it.
On EV adj's, (+ ) means MORE LIGHT.
Or (in effect) opening the shutter more by increasing the f-stop (fraction)
number. (As in 2.8 to 2.0...)
And (-) means LESS LIGHT.
Or (in effect) closing the shutter more by decreasing the f
Sorry, about my previous message in this thread. Of course I meant to say that your
"-" would give you faster shutter time, like 1/250 instead of 1/125, in case the
compensation is done by changing the shutter speed.
