I started being introspective and asked myself why I am so fussy about lenses these days. It's not just the image formation question. I think a lot of it has to do with having a 24" display (really several). These things sure bring out the detail. It's like printing an 11x14 or so every time. You

Well, what with a reasonably warm day here in the UK, and it being Easter monday and a holiday, me and the Mrs decided to go for a walk down by the river.
