I like it also. The contrast in mood between the cloud and the
rainbow makes it an effective image indeed. Plus, it's a double

I can't explain why, but the cars in the parking lot actually work here.

Dan I like the subject and I see you boosted contrast saturation. On
my monitor to my eyes it lacks a little sharpness or it isn't blurry
enough to be arty maybe. Even a little more contrast to give it a
real tactile feeling. YMMV.

I did have boost the contrast and saturation a bit to get the image to
show what my eye saw, as this was an early morning shot on a cloudy
day. The colors are there in nature.
The darker area on the left is the shaggy outer bark of the same tree,
where it has not yet peeled off

This was taken recently on a photo outing with my middle daughter. I
used the Yellow/Blue Polarizer to enhance the small rainbow showing at
the bottom of the water falling.

the rainbow looks mostly yellow to me :-), but I like the picture.
Perhaps it's that timber which is about to fall
