All my screens have a bit of rubbish. When you sit down and look, you're depressed. When you're shooting, it is amazing how the rubbish disappears. -Lon William Robb wrote: - Original Message - From: Dr E D F Williams Subject: Re: screen cleaning - help, please William, I'm afraid you

Thanks for all your proposals. I think this MEsuper has a plastic screen. I got the camera yesterday from ebay and examined and cleaned it in the evening. Todays morning I have compared the brightness of the viewfinder against that of my ME, and it is noticeable brighter, so it must be another

If the screen is glass use acetone. If plastic use something like distilled mater and mild soap, or possibly Windex but one without the ammonia additive. Blow it off with a little air first though. Kent Gittings -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On

Thanks Shel and Gianfranco. THis one screen is so bad that I wouldn't mind trying things on it, It will need to be replaced anyway. I think it's even scratched. There's a photo swap meet near here the first weekend of January, I'll look for an LX screen there. In the meantime, I'll try some

So, my $67 black MX is here, and it looks quite as described in ebay. Dirty screen, winder cap missing, bad foam, but good and working otherwise. Even a bit less brassed that my main black MX. The screen seems just dirty. You can focus a lens, but it is distracting. I will try an LX screen on
