I have had my ME-II winder for about 20 years on my ME Super, and
ergonomically, I don't think any camera fits better in my hand. The winder

Hallo, i can buy at reasonable price pentax winder me II, but I do not have
possibility to check how me super cooperate with it. I mean does the system lay
in hand well, how about quietness when it works, ergonomics. Have somebode used
it and use it still or rather do you usually detach winder

Tried to unload it through eBay with first bid at 35 USD - no takers. It is in
excellent condition. Does anybody here want it? Make an offer, I really want to get
rid of it.
All the best!

Raimo,
Nice winder at a good price. It makes the ME Super much easier to hold, more
comfortable.
I find winders are a great way to get a 2nd or 3rd shot without taking your
eye away from the viewfinder. (Some of the best people photos disappear while
I'm winding.) Overall they are a great
Flawless condition functionally and cosmetically. Look like new.
No marks any where. Clean inside out. I'm giving up my ME-super,
so don't need the winder any more.
The winder works with ME, ME-super and SuperProgram and Super-A,
except the latter ones also have their own dedicated winder.

aside from weak batteries, it could be the engagement switch on the winder
is not in the correct position. take the winder off the camera and look at
the advance drive coupling. the little pin next to it should be to the
right when holding the grip in the right hand and looking down.

I would suspect the batteries...

What is more probable - that it's the camera's of the winder's fault
Hi,
AFAIK, after pressing the shutter release button on the winder the motor
starts winding and _after_ that the shutter is triggered mechanically.
Once the picture is taken the winder advances to the next frame. I find
the mechanical triggering of the shutter strange, because the motor

Hi,
I have a question about the Winder ME II, which I seldomly use with my

I´m really not too happy about that.
