What's the issue here. This doesn't hurt anyone. It is a simple line extension which costs minimal $$$ for Pentax, and gets them a whole new round of publicity and exposure. How many of you eat Oreo cookies. Are 'double stuff' Oreo's a stupid idea? Are Oreo 'minis' a stupid idea? Lighten up folks.
