[Product-Developers] status of newsletter packages

we use Products.EasyNewsletter in many projects as our preferred newsletter solution but seems that the package development is a little bit abandoned these days. I see there are some pull requests waiting without response for many months and there has not been a release in more than a year also

I've once updated p4a.newsletter from Malthe Borch and renamed it to collective.newsletter. there is no release yet, but you can get it here: https://github.com/collective/collective.newsletter the nice thing is, that it doesn't try to reinvent newsletter services but uses Mailman, Sympa or any o

We are working on a more modular approach. We have a package called multimail which allows you to create alias addresses to send to lists of people. Then we use plomino or other to collect subscribers into lists. Then we just need something simpler to collect the content together into emails and se
