What do you mean by "flip flop" I take it to mean that the behavior has changed.
Removing the footer didnt affect anything on my end. It also didnt change
anything for Tomas since he mentioned early on that he wasnt seeing the problem.
How is flipping it back on going to change things if turning
No it hasnt. My gmail is still blocking him. Tomas is an anomaly. Unless my
count is off every other gmail user who chimed in has seen nuegia.net in their
spam.
I'm intentionally excluding gmail organization accounts since I dont know if
they use different spam filters for those.
So no, the pr
If users took responsibility for verifying the source of the email then this
would all be irrelevant. Case in point- protonmail doesnt seem to care about
his emails presumably because we are supposed to be using public/private keys
to verify messages instead of waiting for google to give the gre

Tomas, What does your screen actually look like when your saying Google
says it can't "verify my identity
Well,
Since the footer was disabled I only got 1 dmarc failure email to
postmaster instead of the usual two per email. Though, I haven't been
sending to this board enough times to really test things as I have been
busy. Please leave the footer disabled for a while longer. Perhaps it's
not the only
Flip flopping means it is being flagged sometimes, and other times not.
That is the behavior change I was referring to.

if we include them, then we see flip-flopping. which means we still don't
have a clear picture of a
I was giving feedback that it might resolve itself + I was being smart
about it.
Yes, I feel that the discussion is not moving productively anywhere and we
are not learning. But I am not participating, nor feel
offended/upset/etc I do not really mind.

since the behavior has flip-flopped, I am not sure that we really know any
more about what the problem is now than we did before.

I think this is an ongoing topic and probably doesn't need to be closed.
however you are welcome to use gmail's mute feature if you would like to
stop seeing it.
the footer was removed last week or so, as a test at tom's request. since
then, I have seen emails from him flagged as spam, and also no
FYI
This email has landed in my gmail inbox, not spam - perhaps it is time
to retire this super long thread - before enough people mark is as spam
- LOL.
Maybe gmail-machines (yes it is Matrix reference) pays attention to
human replies and re-classifies ...
