Some questions:
1. Which OS are iTunes/Slimserver running on ?
2. Are slimserver and iTunes running on the same machine ?
3. Are the paths to the music files in iTunes the same as the paths to
the music files in slimserver ?
4. What is the value of following attributes in the TrackStat

Sounds more like a SS issue.. Do the tracks have

I have to agree that Moose has lost some off it's responsiveness but
for me the killer issue is that the playlist is not updating very well.

I've just posted a brand new version of LastFM for 6.5 that I believe

Let me know if this helps - I haven't tested it much but it
I've been doing a little bit of research and discovered that my
preffered player Mediamonkey on the PC, uses the POPm field for ratings
as does WMP, it is the ID3v2 standard.

I have just downloaded SQLplaylist, Trackstats and Dynamicplaylist and
am having a problem with the SQL part.
I fill in the Only include tracks before or equal to this year field
with a year and select the genres and artists. When I go to the next
page the SQL doesn't include the year selection
I'm still really struggling with this in 6.3.0. and 6.3.1. despite

Hi Siduhe,
The second behaviour you describe with a 3rd of your collection not
mixable is what I was experiencing. I was quite suprised that my first
attempt fixed the problem - I was not expecting that.
Can I ask if you are using MySQL, or db packaged with Slim?
I'm using mysql 5.0 - I'm not
RE:Win2K3 server
You need to change the NTLM Policy for that server to allow access from
unsafe clients. If the server is a Domain Server you need to change
the Domain Policy aswell.

Ah, thanks. Your comment about the relative paths got me thinking and I
found that these came from the playlists created by Mediamonkey which
seemed to throw iTunes into a spin. Editing the playlists to show full
paths solved the problem. Brilliant, now I can uninstal iTunes :)
Many thanks for

Some thoughts:
To get performance you probably wants to read the POPm ratings in the
scan process and store them in slimserver database or some other
datasource, if you read them when browsing tracks I suspect the
performance will not be good enough.
There is a non implemented feature request
Do we know, is this a problem with slimServer or with MusicIP?

Reboot your server. Hmmm, oh yeah, that's a Windows thing. Really,
can't you just stop and restart the services by this day and age?
