Hi Felix,
I'm not too sur what this xilinx chip is about, but I did what you
suggested: reprogramming the xilinx chip. And, miracle, the IR-Blaster
is now working perfectly fine. (I still have to check with the right IR
code for my Onkyo amplifier, but it looks like it is sending IR
signals)
A few more details would help:
Do you have an internet security program / firewall?
What version of Slimserver are you using?
What OS are you using (Mac/Linux/Windows XP/Vista)?
Making an educated guess, try adding exceptions to your firewall for
both slim.exe and socketwrapper.exe. I suspect
I haven't had a chance to do any listening, but using these two target

Can you send me the two TestConvolution

First of all, my SB3 doesn't have a connection to the Internet. I
realized that last night. It is connected via a hub to my PC, which in

Apologies for laziness - I've not been following the wave input

Is there a wave output plugin? i.e. something that will fork the

Thanks, Erland. I thought I might have just been missing an obvious

download reinstall SS together with all my favourite plugins. It all

I tried uninstalling LazySearch, restarting SlimServer, reinstalling
LazySearch and restarting Slimserver again.
After all that, there's nothing in the log for LazySearch with
d_plugins enabled.
I only get log output for:

Ah! It DOES actually sort the results - just not as I was expecting.
I only really use song search and the results are sorted by the SONG

random order.

I don't think you can change the user friendly text of a tag you have

It sorts on the title of tracks only so if there are multiple tracks
with the same title then you'll see them in whatever order the database

internal database order (not sure what MySQL does), but it's almost
certainly not
I noticed a typo in the default Mixed Tags Names to show for user. You have

Very odd - you should at least be seeing log entries about the database
being lazified (where the plugin rebuilds the indexing) after you've
restarted the server. Are you sure you're not seeing those when starting
the server with d_plugins?

Well, I worked out what was wrong with my setup. I could play AlienBBC,

connected directly to the internet, wirelessly to a router (not
connected to the internet) then on to the squeezebox. The problem was

I think it would have worked with AlienBBC because it is your SlimServer
machine that connects to the internet to get that RealAudio stream and
it then converts it to pass it to the Squeezebox - i.e. Squeezebox did
not need direct internet connection.
