I think this is a SlimServer issue - all that line is doing is setting
the track length to zero - shouldn't have anything to do with the
bitrate at all (and I just copied it from the Pandora plugin)

I hate to ask this but I'm going crazy trying to get SlimServer 6.5.4 to
recognize the IR Blaster Plugin and don't know what else to try ...
Slimserver 6.5.4 on a Windows XP Pro machine running IE 7. First I
downloaded IRBlaster_06_08_09_v37.zip and copied the unzipped files
to the Program
I would have thought the message in the log was pretty clear:
* scrobbling disabled for this client
There was a bug (since fixed) that defaulted all players to off. You'll
need to check they're all configured correctly.

I wonder whether it is possible to add UPnP-support to Slimserver via
addin. Currently I use Slimserver and Twonky with a QNAP TS-109 NAS,
since I need to connect the Squeezebox aswell as a Noxon.
Has anybody developped an addin that enables UPnP-support to Slimserver
or feels someone called?
Problem is actually that I have a repeat Airport Base station. SB works
fine even though making two hops (main base station is connected by
ehternet).
Problem is that in the course of changing computers the second base
station got knocked out, and I haven't got it working yet.

No. Slimserver can only act as a client and pick up data from upnp
servers on the network.

slimprotocol ist great - in my opinion even

get the icon and the small-text left hand info to appear - any
suggestions? Is this linked to the problems others had with non-US

I did check this and the SqueezeScrobbler strings.txt file appears to be
in UNIX mode already.

itunes and SC? What i mean is that i have a seperate library for my SB3
(FLAC) and my iPods (MP3). Will this still work given that the
ARTIST/ALBUM/TRACK tags still match up but files and location are
different?

No, sorry, it probably won't work - SlimServer and iTunes need to be
using the same set of files.
I do a check that the file matches because otherwise it's very hard to
be sure both systems are referring to the same file using only the
tags.

For SS 6.5.4 you should take IRBlaster_07_05_31_v413.zip. I just
verified with WinXP and SS 6.5.4 and IR-Blaster shows up in the Plugins
list.
Do you have installed other plugins successfully? Are you sure you did
