Thanks in advance, AV

If you're running the album browser on the same PC as SC, I take it
you're specifying the server as localhost? If you are, you could try
using the PC name/IP address, or even 127.0.0.1. There are some issues
with Vista recognising localhost
I've been wanting something like this for a while, though I don't much
like reading things scrolling on the SB display. I look forward to
being able to view these in Browser UI. I hope you are also planning
support for other file types, such as jpg and pdf. Then this could be
used to view
Mine too is a FreeNAS FULL installation and I also find the .pid file is
left behind in /slimnas/var. As I mentioned earlier I am also missing
the /slimnas/usr/www/services_slimserver_stop.php file which should run
when FreeNAS shuts down. Could it be that this 'stop' file clears down
the .pid
Rightly so Vinnie...I'll do my best to keep your plugin front of mind
from now on!

No, Tunatic does not tag, it just displays the best match (which is
usually correct) - give it a go, it's free.
It's been really useful for when I've been listening to internet radio
on the PC, and has worked reliably for the worst-sounding of streams
I've come across.

Just a polite bump, has anyone managed to interface with SimplifyMedia,
or spoken to their tech guys about it?

It is the command line interface port. If SC is running it should be
listening to this port (see attachment):

Greg, I still can't figure out how to enable the tide data. Should it
be one of the weather string options?

Any progress? I read a post from a couple of weeks ago that this was
no-go for now.
1) I'm running SqueezeCenter 7.0 on Windows with a CM11A module on
COM1
2) I've installed the PowerCenter plugin 7a9 and I'm pretty sure it's
configured correctly
3) I've successfuly tested the CM11A module using
I wrote about this earlier, where some alarms configured in the Extended
Alarm Plugin never seem to happen. Since then, I've upgraded to v44,
blown away the config file (letting the plugin rebuild it, then I
repopulated it) and let it run for a week with Logging set to Debug.
I've attached my
a .par file is just a .zip file

Thanks so much, Greg. Looks like we'll have to upgrade to SqueezeCenter
7.0 since your plugin is a must have and it
Hi all. I finally decided to give IRBlaster a try on my living room
system, but I'm having a hard time getting it to work. I am quite
possibly overlooking something obvious or doing something wrong. Here's
the details:
SqueezeCenter Version: 7.0 - 17793 - Debian - EN - utf8
Perl Version: 5.8.8
I'd still like Kevin to see if he can tell me what's going on with
scheduling, but where would I extract the par to so that SqueezeCenter
will run it uncompressed? I've had no luck inserting debug code into
the par file and still have it work...

First, I did have a working SlimServer running under the older (non
Sqeeze center version and it worked great! I was having one issue with
FreeNAS, there is was a bug with SAMBA where it only shows a few hundred
folders in a directory where there is 600. I thought the latest version
of FreeNAS
The PowerSwitch II in my Squeezebox III stopped working after I upgraded
my 2007 Norton 360 to 2008 Norton 360 Premier Edition. Everything else
appears to work fine, except the PowerSwitch II.
I re-installed SqueezeCenter and made sure the PowerSwitch II is still
under the Plugin folder under
Tx - my SC is configured the same - however 9090 still doesn't show up
as a listener port in netstat.

Thanks Kevin!
I'll unzip the plugin and see what I can find. I'm thinking about
generating log events whenever certain subroutines are generated with
some variable values...

Nope, no real progress. The main problem is that HEYU.EXE simply
doesn't work. It'll run, it'll read the config file, but it won't send
commands to the CM11A on the specified
