Hi.
I just upgraded to SqueezeCenter 7.1.0 yesterday and SuperDateTime
plugin stopped working. Error message stated that it is no longer valid
and that i should install an upgrade.
However, an upgrade is not valid, since i've already installed
SuperDateTime 5.5.1.

Concerning your performance comment (see point 3) i'm i bit frustrated

Just a little followup... the CDlayer plugin works just fine on my
Macbook Pro with Mac OS X thanks to your installation instructions.
There is one caveat though. The cdda2wav process is not properly quit
by the plugin after cd ejection. As a matter of fact, it even continues
using CPU cycles
Michael, if you are seeing this the latest version of the TimeSpeller
has a maxVersion in install.xml that makes it incompatible with
SqueezeCenter 7.1.
Changing the maxVersion seems to solve the problem.

cdda2wav is not well behaved if it is terminated. I had to create a
special utility for Windows as a process could remain for each track

I used to use killall on Linux system but I worked out how to avoid
that except on OSX it seems.
Does OSX support the shell killall command.

Conerning your comment If you are using lossy compression then why not
use MP3? i heard that the AAC is much better that MP3...but im perhaps
wrong.

You are entitled to your opinion and what you like. What I or others
hear does not help you when you are listening to your music on your
system in your room.
At high bit rate I think there is probably little difference
Can somebody advise that?

OK, I've rebooted the server re-installed SlimNAS. I still get the
same error message about Squeezecentre not being available.
Any ideas?

I also upgraded to 7.1 and had already modified the SDT 5.5.1 xml file
for max version. However, I get the sports scores, but no weather at
all. It simply slides between date/time and scores. The up/down arrows
do nothing. I have not changed my plugin settings at all.

I dont know if killall works on os x but here's a workaround... if I
select to play another playlist altogether instead of stopping the
current track being played by cdplayer, then it seams cdda2wav quits
properly.

I doubt that. I think SrvrPowerControl, in it's current incarnation,
