Can you try the previous version of mplayer.sh but edited to use /dev/f/4 so the change to custom-convert.conf is also needed. The older mplayer.sh can be downloaded from here. http://alienbbc.googlecode.com/svn-history/r22/trunk/Alien/Bin/mplayer.sh And then edit to change the 3 to a 4 Code:

Your mods look OK. I must be missing something. The mods you have made should make AlienBBC behave like 2.4 which you had working on 9.04 so it should be working. I'll have to review the logs again to see if there is another explanation and probably make up a version of mplayer.sh which
