automatically downsamples. So the FireTV is probably not downsampling

I should add that sometimes - after a disconnect and reconnect possibly
- it will play Ok on Fire TV but switching to another channel will

FLAC - I have no 24/192
You're right BBCiPlayer does seem to stream flac at 16/48 even when the
player is set to 44.1. But it plays fine on a Nexus 7, so it can't be
the internal resampler in SB Player.

What I really like about the Amazon Fire TV are the fantastic
screensaver photos. They are stunning and keep getting added to it
seems.

Interestingly we have established that by default SB Player announces
itself as 44.1 capable but that BBC Plugin / LMS still sends the stream
as 16/48. Why would that be? LMS correctly down samples 24/96 FLAC to
14/44.1 etc but the BBC plugin seems fixed at the original HLS format
16/48.
