Some suggestions:
The Player pane should be fixed, shouldn't scroll out of view.
Scroll left and right panes independently.
Highlight the "Now playing" track in the playlist.
Keep the "Now playing" track visible in the playlist, instead of having
to scroll to see it's position.

Has anyone had any luck installing / running the current Google Music
plugin on piCorePlayer (v 2.05 or 2.06)?
I'm a noob, and can't get the "pip" commands to run when I'm logged in
to the picoreplayer via ssh.

auch verstehen, denn da hat der Server ja viel, viel mehr Zeit für, die

Was ist denn "die aktuelle Version", IMHO gibt's da drei verschiedene
aktuelle (7.7.x, 7.8.1 von heute und 7.9 von heute). In der 7.7.x ist es
garantiert nicht gefixed,

You might have done so before but iPeng didn't respect it for the Genres
which would have been a bug (or unsupported feature).

I didn't change any of the settings but it worked perfectly before the
update.
Yes, it's the main "Stilrichtungen" menu I use.
See the requested setting in the attached screenshot. I just tested both
settings but this did not change anything.

Just set up a virtual machine and tried it and it does work!
The app is unsigned so you need to open it using:
Hold ctrl, click on the app, click open in the context menu
I'm trying to find out how to build a signed app..
