First, try rebooting your Chromecast (unplug the power and plug it back
in).
Second, my only tablet capable of casting (a 2013 Nexus 7) died a few
months ago, so I haven't actually been able to test
Yes, that's the right files. And they say "login failed". Are you sure
you got the credentials right?

Thanks for the information.
I still haven't been able to get this going. I purchased SqueezeCtrl and
used SB Player but was unable to get metadata to show up on the cars
display. Other apps I've tried(Pandora and the phones audio player) show
the metadata so it's a bit confusing.

Sorry, I meant to
While trying to improve sync of metatdata with playing program I found
a BBC feed which provides details of the last 10 tracks played on a
station. This seems to be only actively used on Radio 1, Radio 1Xtra,
Radio 2, Radio 3 and 6Music.
As an experiment to see if it works for everyone and

It does not Cast audio,
I am using Chromecast Audio, and as far as I know it is set up properly,
everything else works fine on my device. A quick check in the Tidal app
confirms the button is there. The Chromecast is on.

1.4.x and 1.5.x is all about DASH. No changes have been made to HLS
code.
1. Your settings which have HLS as first preference means that you have
not been running any new code that hasn't changed since 1.3.x. So any
improvements when using 1.5.x compared to 1.3.x have been coincidental.

Hi there,
I'm now running 1.5.2 - and iPlayer catchup isn't rebuffering so that's
good. :)
But the "real" BBC live streams are rebuffering. So for BBC Radio 5

Some people like expIainations. I wouldn't worry too much about the

Another thing to keep in mind is that it's also dependent on the
bluetooth implementation in your phone. Due to a sudden loss of the
ability to read the SIM card on my main phone (rather essential for a
phone :p) I'm currently using a backup phone, and using the same apps in
the same car, I'm not
