Actually forgot to mention an important info.. I will still be the only
one using spotify via the LMS (LMS on RPi via piCorePlayer). There wount
be other family members on this LMS.

That error has nothing to do with your problem.
Describe your system and player - "unable to play filetype" usually
means your player cannot play AAC and LMS is unable to transcode due to
wrong setting or faad not being available. This is probably a general
problem on your system not a

Works on synched players for me. Transporter and other players. But only
if using LMS. Not

I had the same problem and got it solved by removing the Spotify
Protocol Handler Plugin. Only using SB Radio and Touch(es), so I didn't
need the plugin anyway...
The official plugin works great on it's own!

I found that rudix just added a Sierra update for mpg123 (which still
didn't fix the problem) however I disabled the Local player plugin and
installed Ralphy's 1.8 something something squeezelite.
Now playing my MP3
I am using squeezelite via the Local Player plugin in LMS. Is it
preferable to disable this and install Ralphy's 1.8 squeezelite for OS
X? Any advantage whatsoever?
Also I run Sierra 10.12.2 and cannot figure out how to add MP3 support.
