setting the streaming quality (mp3, cd or hi-res) at a plugin level,
since it is something that the owner of the subscription chooses at its
account level.
No need to modify this at plugin level. Especially if it does not work
well
Flac is played after I (re)start the server for the first album but for
the next album it tuns to mp3. If debug data are needed I ll collect
them !
Uhh... oh... I think it would only play losslessly for the first hour
after logging in... the data is being cached with an expiry which is
shorter
Thanks for all your log files. Unfortunately I haven't found anything
really helpful in there :-(. I do see that the data we receive from
Qobuz should be all good. And I do see from some that after having
played lossless tracks for a while the plugin would indeed start to
request lossy instead.

I have developed the habit of adding spotify tracks to LMS M3U playlists
with the help of the Playlist Manager plugin.
Recently I noticed my playlists are showing strange behaviour: All

Yes, that is why I started using it. They have language and policies
around privacy, although any commercial entity is suspect at this time
:), and they do need to process the voice input using a back end some
where. They are working on a private server

Latest 7.9.2 nightly on a win7 machine and Qobuz 1.370 plugin plays in
mp3 right from the start instead of flac.
If played via the ickstream plugin then flac is played correctly.
No ther changes made other than to update to Qobuz 1.370.

rebooted (RPi2) with logging on debug level enabled. I will keep on
playing Qobuz to see if it occurs again.

I'm not keen on the Alexa or Google voice command thing, but this might
be fun to play with - just with a Pi3+ and a borrowed Jabra to provide
the audio input/output. It seems as though the Mycroft people do less
harvesting of data than Amazon or Google.

By the A-Z menu - you mean the BBCiPlayerExtra one ?

My understanding (based on a couple of minutes on google) is that the
'musl' version is the same program but linked with a different
(streamlined) libc (c library) version. I would have been surprised if
this had been a solution (but then I've been surprised that way many
times before:D).
