I have LMS installed on a debian jessie environment working well.
I have one Airplay speaker working with Airplay bridge without any
issue. I have another speaker with both Airplay & Chromecast

Sounds good. The only UI changes I can think of would be to enforce the
minimum of 1 second for the delays and to add an option
I think this is great. Lets see who takes the time to test it over the
next month or so and when it's fully tested and debugged it can be the
new version. Probably version 3, since you did so much with it.

One of the inbound rules for squeeze2cast-win in Windows Defender
Firewall configuration was actually set to 'Block'.
Could have been accidentally set during the Chromecast bridge install

No. Squeezelite-X is a Win32 app as opposed to a Universal Windows
Platform (UWP) app, and XBox cannot run such apps. I have heard rumors
that XBox could get a "Windows Mode",

I shutdown the firewall and restarted everything. I now have sound !

What I want to be able to do, though, is to turn ONLY Zone 2 on and off
when the Squeezebox turns on and off. If I am listening to music

To me, the errors imply that a firewall is still blocking things.
Can you temporarily disable it?
Maybe it needs a reboot after your config changes.

the end of each programme. I have to restart the live stream to catch
the last few seconds. Playback then continues until just before the end
of the succeeding programme.
