Yeah... always use direct as its more reliable. Just cant even fathom
why this would have started all of a sudden. I saw something about ipv6
potentially causing problems but disabling it on my Ubuntu server that
hosts LMS didnt fix it.
After the import I used to refresh my virtual libraries and title
formats and clear the display cache.
It seems that this is not something I can do or kick off in the
importer.pm. Those scanner limitations you mentioned, maybe?
Whether code is in Importer.pm or some other file isn't important, a
Additional observation... when it happens, LMS thinks it's playing for
about 10 seconds, then the play bar resets to 0:00 and music starts, but
then the skipping begins and continues every few seconds.
Are you using the Connect mode, or controlled by LMS? If in Connect
mode, would LMS mode beha

Thanks for the quick reply, but no luck. Now playback says "705kbps CBR,

I'm also interested in getting support for the audio component of
Twitch.tv streams into LMS. DJ streams on Twitch have exploded over the
last year, and it's often a pain to wait for a TV + Chromecast to 'boot
up' when LMS is running 24/7 in every room.
Is there a plugin which will simply execut

Thanks, for the effort, but I am still not able to get the Naim FLAC
streams to play on an Echo Show 10 using any of the URL's listed in
https://www.hiresaudio.online/naim-radio. These URL's clearly meet your
criterion of having FLAC in their names, so should work like the Radio
Paradise ones. Th

Hi,
I foolishly updated my Perl the other day and messed up my LMS running
on a very old DS212. I've now downgraded the Perl version, but like
you've found, I can no longer find the LMS

Thx for the quick response.
I forgot to mention: I already had done that, at least superficially,
and the data in both the MusicIP-Tags looked identical.
Taking a closer look again results in this:

I would take a copy of 100 files, wipe the MIP tags and scan them under
1.8, then compare the tags against the 1.96b and check the differences.
It might just be the tag name (similar to how it is different for FLAC
vs mp3) however if the actual fingerprint is different then I'm not sure

Hi Kees,

I am sorry to report that mixcloud playback crashes silently about 10-30
minutes into any mix.
