Thanks for your answer Erland. Indeed only one of the two has 'share' in
its path
However, I think the problem is that the database contains every file
twice but that the rating info is only stored in historyentry, i.e.
I've rated the song 'cirkels' (see below), which shows in the history,
but
Could you explain what you have done, in detail, to get to the situation
where the ratings were lost ?
Have you moved all your music files from share\Qmultimedia\ to
Qmultimedia\ ?
Do you have any TrackStat backup file that have ratings in the track
items ?
Did you completely uninstall
Could you explain what you have done, in detail, to get to the situation
where the ratings were lost ?
- I've complety uninstalled squeezecenter, trackstat, custom browse
and SSOTS. Then I reinstalled SSOTS via QNAP firmware and then
reinstalled squeezecenter 7.2.1., trackstat 2.4, custombrowse
Can't you just restore the backup files from before the reinstall ?
If you have already tried that, how does the track element url's look
like in that file compared to where the files actually are stored on the
disk ?
Does it match or does the share part differ ?

Could you compare:
1. An url in a track element from the backup file taken before the
reinstall
2. The Location parameter in the Song Info window in the
SqueezeCenter web interface
Does the paths match ?
Do you know if the Music Folder setting in SqueezeCenter is the same
as before the
From the location path:
/Qmultimedia/Music/0-9/2pac/1998 - Greatest Hits/Cd 1/01 - Keep ya head
up.mp3
From the backup file before the reinstall:
/share/Qmultimedia/Music/0-9/2pac/1998 - Greatest Hits/Cd 1/01 - Keep
ya head up.mp3
It indeed has a different path...
I had the idea it was the
You can probably open up the backup file in a text editor and remove the
/share in the beginning of the paths using Replace all functionality
in the text editor.

I had to reinstall squeezecenter due to problems with my hard disks and
I've also reinstalled TrackStat, CustomBrowse and MusicInfoSCR.
