If you are using linux, then squeezelite offers similar features to
squeezeslave and has high res support. (see linux forum)

For everybody playing with hi-rez support I needed to modify LMS to get
it to send hi-rez to VortexBox Player. The default in LMS is to
resample to 48k unless it's connected to a Touch or Transporter. If you
ever get hi-rez support for SqueezeSlave working you will need to do the
same.

Squeezeslave is great, thank you for bringing this program to the world!
I'm running it as part of www.squeezeplug.eu on a Goflex Net (low power

Hi
I have just finished building a fanless PC with an asychronous USB
connection to a W4Sound DAC2 to play 24/96 and higher resolution *.flac
files. The only problem I did not anticipate is that SqueezeSlave does
not support high res replay unlike my Transporter. Gotcha!!

I've just about given up on Squeezeplay+sox+Inguz, and I need 24/96

As it appears there is a recurrence of intererest in this topic I'd like
to say that I too would love to see this feature implemented. I think
the demand is going to get greater as more 96/24 titles become
available.

I'm also interrested in this feature as there is more and more hi res
files availlable.
I'm also interrested in Inguz audio (EQ) for squeezeslave and didn't
find yet out to acces EQ settings.

Unfortunately not.
Other than tracking the latest portaudio development sources and
testing the wasapi version, I've done little with squeezeslave over the
summer. Thankfully, I've been doing that as I've uncovered several bugs
in portaudio which were quickly fixed.

Unfortunately, squeezeslave currently only supports 44.1 playback.
Removing this limitation is currently being investigated.
