It was the ' in the style's name. I could fix it without reentering
everything by stopping Squeezeboxserver, editing
/var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs/plugin/customclockhelper.prefs and
starting Squeezeboxserver.
Now the style can be exported and items can be deleted.

Could maybe be some problem with '-characters in the style name, try to
name it without any " or ' in the style name and see if that works
better.

OK, now I made my first Custom Clock Style and called it "bluebell's
SuperDateTime". But I experienced 2 issues:
- Items cannot be deleted
- I can't export my style. Export of the builtin styles works.
Are these known bugs/features?

asked for people to take over some plugins and

What do you mean "at that time"? It still is open source and it still
runs on Linux.

Why? It's just a plugin like SDT and a lifetime license to use all
erland's plugins and apps is less than I give to some Internet radio
stations as a donatio
Thank you for the information.
I chose my first Squeezebox because at that time Squeezeboxserver was
open source and ran on Linux. That was most important for me. Reading
about commercial licenses and the need of running a "license manager"
on my own equipment scares me.
However, asking for a do
If you want to use it as a screen saver you need Custom Clock applet.
Through Custom Clock applet installed on the Touch and SDT installed in
Squeezebox Server, you will be able to configure a SDT based style in
the Custom Clock settings page under Settings/Screen/Screensavers on
the Touch.

Hi all,
I bought a Squeezbox Touch only to run the fantastic SuperDateTime...
ok, just kidding.
The best wife of all wives likes SuperDateTime very much (mee too!). It
runs on our 8 Booms and used to run on my first Squeezebox, a model 2.
Now I replaced the old Squeezebox 2 by a Squeezebox Touch
