Richard, Thanks for the information. I hadn't considered that a different brand of card would make a difference. CompUSA had 128 MB SanDisk (a pretty reliable brand) CF cards for $39.95 after rebate, so I bought one. I guess I can use it in my digital camera if it won't work as a boot disk.
