What OS are you using? VPC 2.x won't run on the newer ones. (above 8.1 if memory serves) I seem to remember something about VPC versions and G3 compatibility as well as some issues with bus speed timing within VPC. I went to VPC 5/ME when I upgraded and run with only the normal Windoze problems.
