Can't you just select the partition and use the "Erase Disk" command on the partition? Or isn't that an option when you use the partition as VM? (I confess I haven't tried this on a partitioned drive.) (Norton Utilites and TechTool Pro will also optimize/ defragment the drive, FWIW.) Regards,

you might try the driver at our site---we have a version for the 3Com cards on our site (under downloads), though I personally am not familliar with your particular model.. Since we're having a "blizzard" here in the southeast today, our s/w tech isn't in, so I can't ask him about it either..

Try using the uninstall feature for the Farallon card. When I switched e-net cards on my PB 1400 I had problems until I uninstalled the old driver before installing the new one. There must be an invisible file or preference file that has to be deleted before the old driver lets go. John on 1/23/0
