Printing from 3400c

2004-04-03 Thread Patti Worden
Hello, I'm a new user and sent a message a few days ago, most likely to the wrong address. My question is, does anyone know a sure way to accomplish printing from the 3400c to an Apple Stylewriter 1500? The 3400c is currently running 8.6. Has both a combination modem/printer port and a

Pretty weird. I have similar symptoms on my Kanga (actually a 3400 with a G3 instead of a 603e). I tried with a 2500 and a ColorStyleWriterPro. They won't even wake up and the Mac says that there is a problem communicating, be sure it's plugged in. I have been in search of a logic board

No. the PC card holder simply plugs in to the slot. No software required. You insert your CF card into the holder, put the holder in the slot in your Powerbook and the card (and its contents) show up on your desktop like a hard disk or floppy disk would. The files are right there viewable by

I'm back on the list having laid my paws on a tidy little 3400c Powerbook. It's pretty much stock apart from a 20x CD drive and an additional 64MB RAM card. Extraordinarily tidy little book for it's age - and not all that slow either. I want to hang a Lucent wireless card on and use it with

Please take note that powerbook 3400 is cardbus compliant. These may not be what you're looking for and besides you may already have this info, but just incase, here we go: http://www.wwc.edu/~frohro/Cardbus/Cardbus.html MCE does the service for a big fee! Some listers have done it by shaving

Experience using memory module/adapter in PCMCIA slots

I just got involved with the older 190/5300/3400 PowerBooks and, in the process, learned that flash memory modules (the same kind used in cameras) add a new dimension to computer memory and operating convenience. Preliminary--Useful details on how to use flash memory were found on LowEndMac's
