Also, the lower slot of the Kanga is not wired for a DVD decoder card,
which the Wallstreet is.
You mean zoomed video support. Both the 3400 and the Kanga have that.
So, zoomed video support of the 3400 and 3500 (Kanga) implicitly means
that the wallstreet DVD decoder card also works in

Another suggestion, and one that is used in an antique computer list
I am also on, is to break the whole group up into a 'talk' list and
a 'tech' list. The tech list would be scrutinized closely while the
talk list wouldn't. The group would soon get a sense of what's
on-topic in the talk list
Please, NOT another list.

Not necessarily, as the answer actually has two parts: 1)
Then what G4 users need is an emulator program that'll run OS 9 and
emulate all it's functions including AppleTalk. (Hey if we can have an
Apple IIGS emulator under OS9, then why not this one? (And I wonder if an
emulator could run under an emulator? :) )

The 2400c is an intriguing possibility, but not if you're budget-minded.
It's Apple's smallest and lightest laptop ever, mainly because it has

No, that was the
So I would like to study the feasibility to set up a list for

powertech or similar.
Reasonable, as some components, and some repair techniques are common

If you modify the card cage, then the Kanga will physically accept a

The only thing I experienced with the card in at startup is that the
machine doesn't recognize the card.
It's been said by others that there are software issues with these
cards, things like crashes if you try to start or shutdown with the
