I'm not looking for a debate. I'm just wondering why a lithium ion battery would not charge in a 5300. Because Apple says so! The prototype 5300s did have LiOn batteries. Then there was the the event that started the flaming battery rumors. I'm not going to say what happened because I do

Well if that's the case then a 1400 would be great. If you get a 1400c then graphic work is pretty good. I have one and it is nice to carry around and use just about anywhere, however becasue it have a build-in drive slot it may be a little big for some in which case you may want a Power Book 240
