Powerbook performance

n upgraded Powerbook 540c tonight (100MHz 603E PowerPC cpu instead of the 68LC040, 40MB RAM, OS 8.1). The Powerbook was very very noticeably slower. Screen scrolling was especially painful. Does anyone have any theories and/or suggestions for improvement? Thanks. Ben -- PowerBooks is sponsore
