I found another 1400 that I had stashed. Tried it and could get no response other than
a little noise. So, assuming it is not the hard drive, I pulled that 2.G and put it in
the good 1400. The machine recognized it, but said it wasn't a HDD disk. I tried to
initialize it and it didn't happen.
I have 2 harddrives. One is 2.0 G and the other is 1.3 G. It was obvious, smelling
the other 1400/166 that something had smoked the motherboard. The monitor won't come
on. Funny, thing, the 166 had an intact CD player.

memory. It has a floppy and a CD drive. The CD drive's front cover is broken. The
holders on the back side of it are both broken and thus do not function right. How
