FYI, The other day I put one of these old batteries in an external Apple brand charger overnight. About 2:00 AM was woken by a loud CRACK, sounded like a rifle shot. Even set the dog off. The end of one of the cells had blown partially out cracking and expanding the plastics. I'm glad it wasn't
