Hi there,
I'm running the latest public beta of High Sierra (macOS 10.13, build 17A360a)
on my MacBook Pro (mid 2012). PowerMail, so far, is just running fine, however,
with a tiny exception: the command cmd-delete for moving messages into the
trash is noc longer working. Oddly enough,
Uuh - just tried it and you are right - however, your PowerMail contact are
actually exported to Apple's Address Book, just literally. Open Address
Book.app and you will find all your contacts nicely imported ;-)
Best wishes,
Karsten
There is no file save dialogue.
In PowerMail, I go File -
to share, and I haven't seen a script or work around so I
can directly share photos into PowerMail. Can anyone help me? Right now
I have to export a photo and then attach it into PowerMail...
Thanks,

Interestingly, I did not experience this error while running the 10.10 beta

Any idea?

Hi Jérôme,
Unfortunately, deleting that folder didn't do the trick. Since PM is not really
affected - I can live with that :-)
Best wishes,

Same here - I've sent the crash log, however, have yet not received an answer.

Quit PowerMail, then delete the folder:

Olaf,
eazy thing to do:
Simply put an alias of your PowerMail app into the PDF Service folder in

I'd had a very similar problem this weekend. I simply solved it by
replacing the PowerMail application with a freshly downloaded one. Maybe
it helps as well in your case.

Hi listers,
again PM forgot the location if his mate SpamSieve.
Since my former fix - deleting all cache files using Onyx - isn't working
this time, I was trying to remember one of the other methods. As far as I
recall, AppleScript was involved, but I can't remember what exactly was
to do.
Hi Oliver,
Had the same problem couple of days ago. What actually helped was using
Onyx to delete whatever Cache files exist. In addition I ran the
maintenance cron scripts. Whatever was the reason, PM is now happy again
finding SpamSieve.
Btw, a workaround is to first start SpamSieve before
Well, you are right, then PM finds SpamSieve, but it used to work before

Strange indeed...
Thanks anyway,

In a similar incident (PM was crashing when opening a new window on

utility called Onyx (there are similar ones out there). I tried all the
'usual' PM trouble shooting stuff as well, as you listed, but none of

Well, yes it is possible, but involves some ResEditing ;-)
How can I remove the PowerMail icon to the left of emails in the message
list?
Follow these steps:
1.Using ResEdit (MacResourceDog/ReKnife for OS X), open the file User
Prefs in your 'PowerMail Files' folder. Better yet, open a copy
, new windows open again in PowerMail, without crashing the
application. No idea how and which cache got currupted.
So, all is well again and my wife is back to heavy powermailing ;-)

Try to delete the Custom Dictionary file from your PowerMail user
folder. Or, if you have
the data base, trashing the individual PowerMail preferences
etc. Still, the problem persists.
I'll paste the crash log into this email (sorry to all the modem users),
maybe someone is getting more information out of that than I am ;-)
