Steve go ahead and get it. It works great with your Mackie.I would like to use
sound flower or something like that. I just don't have the time to get into all
that right now. My business is busy we are buying a new motorhome and I am
playing in about three or four bands. I am also trying to get
just bounce your PT session out to to a wav. import wav into logic build drum
track in logic, or whatever other midi tracks you want to do there, bounce
individual tracks out of logic and reimport them into the original PT session.
If you just want to trigger midi and record the audio You
The Short and quick answer is the last time i looked at it in Reaper the preset
dialog box wasn’t visible to voice over, so i assume its the same in ProTools.
The easiest way to resolve this is to get someone to click on the preset to
load them then you can save them in the protools preset

Hey Slau. Yup, get that. Curretnly under Windows the only way I know of to
read the new LUFS standard is the TT Dynamic Range meter. The old version
of Sonar 8.5.3 that I was using doesn't have accessible RMS meters either
but Samplitude Pro X2 and Samplitude Pro X2 Suite both do. Samplitude
I actually did buy independence a while
back and it did have possibilities.
I really want to be able to import some of my own samples though. I think
independence will import sound fonts. If you are really starting to get
somewhere with samplitude, you

Hi Phil,
It's one of those things where, the more you dig in, the more you realize there

Hey Slau. Thanks for the heads up. Will be great when those become
accessible. Really appreciate all that you have done personally to make PT
accessible for us on the Mac.

Hi Phil,
Pro Tools doesn't include those meters by default. Most people are using
plug-ins that specialize in keeping track of specific volume units. Those
plug-ins, unfortunately, are not yet accessible. You should just stick to
Windows for that.

Hi Steve,
There are a bunch of YouTube videos explaining the ways you can have tracks in
a Pro Tools session feature sounds from Logic being routed into the PT session.
It involves an inter-application routing solution like SoundFlower or LoopBack.

Hi Gordon,
Yes structure free presets from at least pt version 9 work on pt 12.5.
I brought them over from pt 9.03 and put them into pt 12.5 and the 63 or so
presets do work. :)

Ok guys. I’m thinking about biting the bullet and buying logic, as i need more
midi sounds. I guess the question is. what is the process when say adding a
drum track to a pt session. I know you can export your sounds afterwards. But
how does one play the session so as to add the drums. surely
It certainly would be nice to have that. Having access to that and other
great tools on the Mac like Superior Drummer 2 would be great. Although I
also work in Windows
And have Independence available to me in Samplitude Pro X2 Suite which is
accessible so that could be an option for you.
