Hi all,
I'm using Puppet 5 to install Docker like so:
class { 'docker':
version => 5:18.09.9~3-0~ubuntu-bionic,
}
We'd like to control the version of Docker that's running using the Puppet
manifest. That is, we want to prevent the unintentional upgrade of Docker
when
I'm wondering the same thing. We are seeing errors when running `puppet
module` commands that query for dependencies.
I'm using the `derdanne-nfs` example below, but this error happens with at
least 3 other community modules, including `thewired-bitbucket` and
`puppet-mysql_java_connector`.

and Package types together".
Does anyone else have a better way to workaround this bug?

been bitten by a few Puppet Forge modules where the `yumrepo` definitions
didn't stay up to date with the upstream vendor's changes.

Hello Everyone,
I am running Puppet 3.8 on CentOS 6. I'm trying to install a yum repository
from an RPM package, as well as modify the contents of the .repo file after
the package is installed.
My example manifest is below. In my `yumrepo {'remi-safe':}` class, I
require `require =>
enable' https://tickets.puppetlabs.com/browse/PUP-3613

Hello,
I have a CentOS 6 system running Puppet 3.8, and I use SCL (Software

like http24 and ruby193.
I am having trouble using Puppet's gem provider to install gems with
ruby193.
I have a manifest like this:
Kylo,
Can you make sure this information is added
to http://docs.puppetlabs.com/release_notes/#current-releases ? That page
still says that 3.7 and PE 3.7 are the current releases, which is a bit
confusing when Yum is telling me otherwise.
Thanks,
