I don't have my Trump Card handy, but I seem to recall that *it* might have
been laid out with the two significant chips NOT oriented in the same
direction!
Have you inspected the handiwork of the person who is having trouble with
the replacement ROM?

Ken,
I should have a ST520 + Colour Monitor + Mono Monitors to give away at
Byfleet. My brother was clearing his loft and was about to throw them away
and I thought it seemed better to try and find someone who wanted it first.
All I have to do is get around to collecting them from him!

Hi Rich,
It was Ken Brickwood who was bringing the Level 2
ROMs etc to Byfleet.
I can always refund you for the ROM if you like,
maybe the trump card is a version that is incompatible with Level 2 - I know
there were several versions of Trump card.
Cheers,

Hi Tony,
Did you get Rich's email about the level 2 ROM ? If not,
please refer to the PS at the end of this message.
I would be really grateful if you would have a go at fixing a couple of
sick Ataris. I'll bring all the relevant bits.
I may also bring a couple of QLs.
Regards,
Ken
Ian, as far as I know the only way you can obtain a
qubide partition is formatting the hd as soon as the
qdos classic start. Next boot you will not have any
more error during the qubide module startup.
This kind of operation will destroy any partition
already present on the disk (smsqe or Linux).

I tried converting the first partition to Qubide using the following procedure:

Hello Derek,
This is what I tried last night:
Bearing in mind what you said about needing an already existing partition one, the
disk I tried this time is an IBM 6Gb. The first partition is QWA approx. 256Mb, the
second is Linux SWP approx. 128Mb and the remainder of space is one or two LNX
